Monster Challenge Rating and Hit Dice

Here is a resource I found as I began to examine how CR (challenge Rating) numbers are determined when building monsters and encounters. This chart shows a few dips where I did not expect them. But the main take away from this chart is that Hit Dice are the major influence in calculating the challenge rating for a monster.
